Arrival at the villa

Gate code
At the entrance of Marzac you will find an electric gate. The code is written in your contract. Please note this so you will be able to enter the area.

You will find the pushbutton operation down to the left of the gate. Please do not attempt to open or close the gate manually if a storm has damaged the electrical installation on the gate. There is another entrance to the chateau area one hundred meters from the main entrance see map in the housebook.

Check In
Is between 16 - 18 o'clock  no later than 21 o'clock in the evening. Please call ½ an hour before arrival - see contract.

You will find the key in the door of your villa when you arrive. Please leave it there when you leave in the end of your holiday or hand it to our staff, who will knock on your door prior to your departure.

Linen and Towels
If you have ordered linen it will lie on your bed. Linen come with 2 towels pr. person (20 €). If problems please call M. Peire (cellphone). If you want to bring your own linen we will send you the dimensions of the beds.

Shortly after your arrival, you will be contacted by M. Peire, who will make sure that everything is satisfactory. He lives in the area. You can contact M. Peire until 9. pm on if there are any problems. He will collect 600 euro damage deposit - which will be paid back to you within 2 weeks by cheque - if the villa is in the same state as you received it. If you have ordered linen, towels and cushions you will pay to M. Peire.

Good to bring

  • good flashlights
  • tea lights and matches
  • do your shopping in a supermarket on your way to Marzac.
  • sun worshippers should remember to bring extra large towels.
  • binoculars

Please put the sealed plastic bags in the containers that you will find in the area close to Château Marzac along the road. Waste separation is now in force in France, so please note what it says on the containers.

It is possible to order cleaning during your stay: 12 euro an hour. M. Peire (cellphone).

Swimming pool and installations in the villa
On weekdays you can contact  Monsieur Julian on 0683 106 485 or Monsieur Phillipe 0673009425. The office number is: 0553 039 124. The swimming pools are cleaned regularly. There is a net by your house for you to remove any leaves etc. The pools are closed between 1. october and 1. of May. However special agreements can be made.


It is your responsibility to have the pool alarm demonstrated by Philippe, Julien or M. Peire, or by any other member of the staff. You can contact them on weekdays in the office in the barn below Vignes Basses and Bergerie. Cell ph 06 73 00 94 25 or 06 83 10 64 85. According to french law pools have to have alarms or to be fenced in.

State of villa
We trust you will make sure that the villa is in the same state when you leave as it was when you arrived as new guests will be arriving on the same day as you leave. In particular, please make sure that bathrooms, the cooking stove, microwave oven, refrigerator and outdoor grill are clean, and that the dustbins are empty and clean. Please take any remaining rubbish with you. Please let us know immediately if something breaks during your stay so that we can replace it at once. Depending on what is broken, we may have to make a charge.

We continually improve the facilities of the villas and we will be pleased to receive your evaluations and recommendations. Naturally, we would also like to have your positive comments. Please send a mail with name of  villa  plus the period of your stay.

Please check out no later than 10am Saturday morning.
